• Miley Cyrus attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards on Saturday, Jan. 3, in support of her song for Avatar: Fire and Ash.
  • During an interview on the red carpet, she was asked about the hottest show on TV, Heated Rivalry.
  • The Grammy winner revealed she’s “so in” to be involved in the show’s upcoming second season.

We’ve always known that Miley Cyrus is a certified gay icon, but she might have taken it to new heights when she revealed her Heated Rivalry obsession over the weekend. (Ah, celebs…they’re just like us.)

During an appearance at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards on Saturday, January 3, Miley got candid about her newfound love for the hottest show on TV.

“I have not watched yet, but this is on my to-do list now. It’s all I’ve heard about, of how much I’m going to be obsessed,” she told Variety’s red carpet correspondent, Marc Malkin. “This is, like, every conversation I’ve had today has started with, ‘You have to do this.’”

When the outlet asked whether she’d contribute to the show’s soundtrack for its upcoming second season, she quipped, “Oh, I’m so in! Book me. Get me booked!” (Honestly, dare we say it’s criminal that one of her hits didn’t make the club scene, which was set in 2016? No shade to the perfect needle drop of “All the Things She Said,” though.)

Later that same night, Marc reiterated Miley’s quote to François Arnaud, who plays Scott Hunter on Heated Rivalry. He seemed equally as excited for the opportunity, saying, “I think we might get a little bit bigger budget for Season 2, but I don’t know if we get Miley budget.”

He added, “I think if she sees the show, she might give us a discount.”
